Stim armature

Taxonomy of Terms / VIII. Aesthetics and form

CNS term. Defined on this site.

A worn object or structure that works as an external scaffold for self-regulation, through deep pressure, predictable sequence, sanctioned repetition or a scripted body. The same object can serve neurocapture at the same time, as in the showgirl’s revue costume, which conscripts endurance into an image of effortlessness while also furnishing conditions for regulation.
