What the Lab does

Develops and tests methods

Neuroaffective reading, anagnorescence, neurokinship and Critical Neuronormative Discourse Analysis are worked out through the Lab’s own projects. See the Methods page.

Builds research practices for neurodivergent researchers

Hyperfixation mapping, stim journaling and body doubling, with guidance for supervisors, graduate schools and research groups.

Co-develops measurement

Wellbeing measures are built with neurodivergent participants, starting from what wellbeing means to them, instead of fitting them to neurotypical scales.

Works access first

Meeting structure, communication norms and authorship conventions are agreed before a project starts.

Treats creative practice as research

Erasure, stim poetics and practice-led writing sit alongside scholarly publication.

Sessions and events

Nothing scheduled at present

The Lab does not run a regular program. Sessions, workshops and calls will be listed here as they are announced.
