CNS term. Defined on this site.
Relationships of mutual recognition and support among neurodivergent people, whether or not formally diagnosed, grounded in shared ways of perceiving and processing. Where institutional care is dyadic and hierarchical, neurokinship is organised as an interdependent network in which people give and receive support in varying proportions over time. It accommodates crip time, and it is sustained through parallel co-presence and anagnorescence.
